Crafter’s Companion Subscription Box 3 - Card 2

A6 Size Card - CC Subscription Box #3 Card 2

I used red card stock to make the flower. I stamped them out 3 times with the stamp included in the box and then cut them with the die that’s included in the box. I coloured them in a little with Spectrum Noir Pens to add some shading and then stuck them together. For the centre I cut a 5mm wide length of black card and snipped all the way along the length and use a quilling tool to roll it up.

Crafter’s Companion Subscription Box 3 - Card 1

A6 Size Card - Crafter’s Companion Subscription Box #3 Card 1

Hello to all!  I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted on my blog but I am trying to get back into a routine with it, so hopefully more things will be posted as I have a lot of my makes I could share with you.

Anyway, I’ve subscribed to the New Crafter’s Companion Subscription Boxes and I thought I would share my first make from Box #3.

I used red card stock to make the flower, which I cut 5 times with the die included in the box and stamped it afterwards with the stamp that’s included. I then coloured the petals a little with some red Spectrum Noir pens to give them a bit of shading. I used 1 of the cut outs layers of the flower to make the bud in the middle and then layered the rest to get the look I achieved for my flower.

Happy Crafting!!! X X

My Happy Post

Here are the lovely crafting goodies I won from Leann's Facebook Page Giveaway.

As I mentioned on my own Facebook Page, it's not quite the same as winning the lottery (not that I know what that's like), but it's always lovely when you do win something, especially when it's something you enjoy doing.

Thank you Leann, they are fantastic!

My Crafter's Companion Guest Designer Cards for October - Theme 'Baby'

A5 Sized Card - New Baby Boy and New Baby Girl

Well, as a lot of my friends and crafting friends know, I was lucky enough to have won the chance to be a Guest Designer for Crafter's Companion for 3 months (until the end of the year) after entering the September Blog Challenge.

Due to the errors on the Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog my cards have still not been posted so I thought it was about time for me to add them to my Blog.  The October Challenge Theme was 'Baby' but because I couldn't decide if I should go with a girl or boy card, I did one of each.

Here are the cards I made:

Floral Window Teddy

A5 Size Card - Floral Window Teddy

I found some old cards with some teddy bear images on.  They were quite small so I decided to use them as topper images for larger cards and here is the first card I made.
